Web Consumption
I was consumed by the internet today.
I started out consuming the objects of my interest. But found myself getting drawn deep into the vortex of a great wave that thrashed and swirled me around the place as I became ever more feverish consuming: researching, educating, communicating, investigating, comparing, purchasing.
Now, I was no longer consuming.
I had been CONSUMED.
Feeling overwhelmed by the ever changing array of delights on offer as well as feeling tested, skeptical and hopeful about what I’ve consumed.
Ah… Just another day on the web. At least we can be assured that tomorrow’s experience will be different. Thank you Tim Berners-Lee.
